Have any suggestions for spiritual dating apps?

I used to be religious and I thought that was the best way to date and get married.

Well, fast forward and now I'm very religious at all, yet, I still hold onto to what I can only call spiritual beliefs.

And I find that cruising certain dating apps, most of whom we probably already know, is a waste of time.

Most of the people on there are stubbornly physical, fixated on sensual desires. They don't converse about anything deep. They don't share spiritual experiences, thoughts or feelings.

I realize I am asking a lot, and I don't expect to get a lot of answers. But does anyone have a favorite spiritual dating site?

I have never seen a menu of spiritual dating apps. It seems to be the only niche that's lacking.

Yes! Finally, someone who gets it.

I find Tinder and all the others very gross, and very uh, how shall I say, material and philistine.

I would love a dating app that actually matches together people based on their artistic inclinations and their spiritual attitudes and philosophies.

I mean yes there are spiritual people on dating apps, like Hinge sometimes, but you're still linked only by physical attributed.

Where is the soulmate search? Where is the spiritual side of dating?

There is eHarmony and I guess it's OK. At least it's a dating site that pushes for personality. Still, it's not about spiritual dating at all.

Have you tried spiritual dating apps in theme, like Mindful and Spiritual Singles?

Maybe they seem a bit too scammy. But I think if you want to date exclusively by spiritual compatibility, then they're worth a look.

Mindful I have tried before, and it has common interests like yoga, travel, religion, philosophy, etc.

Just join Christian Mingle and discuss your spirituality there, with real Christians.

Go back to God. Repent and you will be saved.

Aaaah I'm just screwing with you. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Spiritual dating sites? Give me a break. It's called conversation and bonding over time, and having common interest.

There's no such thing as a spiritual dating app.

Join Catholic Match or Jdate. That's spiritual dating. Everything else is just fooling yourself and falling for some scam site.

Well, yes and no.

I wouldn't put much stock in "spiritual dating", apps or sites, or anything that's so obviously a marketing ploy.

You can meet people anywhere, and have very deep philosophical conversations. You can discuss spirituality at your leisure.

Don't underestimate the number of people who are not religious but spiritual minded.

eHarmony is good for this. Hinge and Coffee Meets Bagel, OK.

Also, OKCupid is a cute app. Leans younger, for late teens and college students. But it has a lot of spiritual and values-based questions when you answer questions.

I also think Elite Singles and Silver Singles have a pretty good questionnaires.

As a personal note, if you have a personal philosophy, or spiritual mantra that seems to permeate your existence and happiness...share that on your profile.

Invite deep conversation, rather than waiting for an app to lead the conversation.

Years ago, we liked to call spiritual dating "Talking to each other" before hopping into bed on the first date.

But I guess if you do it that way, you get to have some deep pillow talk afterward.

I also agree. eHarmony and Silver Singles are probably more practical sites.

I seriously doubt anyone is downloading spiritual dating sites, other than as indicated, ChristianMingle, JDate, Muzz, Salams, etc.
