Is NetEnt owned by Evolution? Confused who makes what now

Quick one that's been bugging me! I keep seeing the same studio names pop up across totally different casinos... NetEnt, Red Tiger, Evolution. Are these all separate companies or has it all been bought up by one mob now? Genuinely can't tell anymore.

Yeah they're basically all the same house now. Evolution bought NetEnt back in 2020, and NetEnt already owned Red Tiger from the year before, so when Evolution swallowed NetEnt they got Red Tiger in the deal too. So Evolution = Evolution live games + NetEnt slots + Red Tiger slots, all under one roof these days.

And that's the whole industry now really, it's consolidated HARD. A handful of giants own most of what you play. It's not necessarily a bad thing - Evolution's QA is tight, the RTPs are published and the games are eCOGRA tested. My point is when people argue 'this casino has better games', half the time it's the exact same NetEnt and Evolution catalogue, just a different skin on top.

Sweet, that actually clears it up. Always wondered why Gonzo's Quest was on every single site haha. Makes sense now.
