Skrill vs Neteller for NZ casinos - which one actually?

Trying to sort out an e-wallet for casino deposits and withdrawals here in NZ and it's down to Skrill or Neteller. They look almost identical to me... does it actually make a difference which one you go with? Keen to hear from anyone using either day to day.

Funny thing is they're owned by the same company (Paysafe), so under the hood they're nearly the same. In practice: Skrill tends to be accepted at slightly more casinos, Neteller's VIP tiers get you lower fees if you move a lot through it. Both do instant deposits and both keep the gambling off your bank statement, which is the main reason people use them over a card. Fees on withdrawals are similar, watch the inactivity fee on both if you let it sit.

Honestly I gave up on both. The fees nibble away at you and you're still doing an extra hop. These days I just use crypto or POLi straight up, money's in and out faster and no middleman taking a cut. But if you want the bank-statement privacy then fair enough, Skrill's the one I'd pick of the two.

Sorry probably a dumb question but do the welcome bonuses still work if you deposit with Skrill? I read somewhere e-wallet deposits get excluded from some offers and I don't want to miss out on the bonus by funding it wrong.

Not a dumb question at all, and yes, that's a real catch - a fair few sites DO exclude Skrill/Neteller deposits from the welcome bonus. Always check the bonus terms before you fund. If the bonus matters more to you, a card or crypto deposit is usually the safer bet for qualifying. Either e-wallet is perfectly safe to use though, I've had zero issues withdrawing to Skrill.
