What is RTP and how do I find it on a game?

Keep seeing people bang on about RTP but I don't actually know what it is or where you even see it. Can someone explain it simply? Is it something on the game itself or do you have to look it up?

RTP = Return To Player. It's the percentage a game is designed to pay back over millions of rounds. A 96% RTP slot keeps 4c of every dollar long-term, which is the house edge. Important bit: it's a LONG-run average, it tells you nothing about your next 20 spins. To find it, open the game, hit the little 'i' / info / paytable button - it's listed in there, usually near the rules.

Yeah and the decent NZ-facing sites list it per game so you can check before you even load it, mate. Rule of thumb I use: 96%+ is fine, under 95% I skip it. Worth checking because the same slot can ship with different RTP versions depending on the operator.
