Is it just me or does Las Vegas dating suck?

I visit Vegas from time to time, probably because I really loved The Hangover trilogy lol.

But real life Las Vegas dating is lame. There are so many fakers, flakes, players and scammers.

Lots of married people looking to cheat, creepers, probably muggers posing as single people, and I am pretty much sick of the bar scene.

Oh, there are definitely cougars at the bar but I'm actually getting bored with awkward one night stands and am looking forward to a relationship with real potential.

Just wondering how do you find people, if you live in Vegas?

Do any of you guys use Las Vegas dating sites? Any apps to recommend that seems to attract Vegas' finer night life?

I don't live there but definitely visit every few years.

Vegas is pretty much as insane as it seems like in the movies. But I mean it's a tourist city so what do you expect? There are some bad eggs there, but that's every city. This is a city that parties and never stops. You just eventually run out of money and leave.

The usual dating apps—Tinder, Ashley Madison, Flure, Hinge, Adult Friend Finder, Facebook Dating, and the like—seem to work.

But there are so many bars and they're opened 24-7. So I can't imagine why you wouldn't want to meet someone in person and then find them on a dating app for more info.

Dating in Las Vegas is like the equivalent of swimming in a polluted swimming pool just because of the free drinks.

I am not a fan of Vegas. Women are always complaining about men, and most of the men are just FWB material. No one really looking or worth looking at.

The bartenders are really nice. The hookers and strippers are really friendly.

But the bar scene is shit on a stick.

I think Las Vegas dating sites are the only way to date safely, and stuff like Meetup is fun too. But the city is so much of a tourist trap you just can't meet anyone normal and down to earth.

Meetup is overrated in my opinion. It's so awkward when only 2 people are going and they're both weird looking dudes.

But for what it's worth I hear that if you stay away from the strip the insanity lessens. Try to meet people in the living areas on Vegas or even the greater Clark County, and you might find a different dating pool.

I downloaded Flure today, and it seems interesting. Kind of like a share your fantasy or personal ad type of site.

It's similar to Ashley Madison but without the married fixation, just whoever is in the area, getting together, seeing if there's any sparks.

It's about sharing fantasies, and an inclusive safe space type of app where no one judges you, just put your fantasies out there and see who matches.
