What are some examples of masculine compliments?

What do you think are positive, sincere, but also playful compliments for masculine people?

Notice I say masculine and not men. Because I'm just as curious about what you would tell a masculine woman, or non-binary, transman person.

You're right it's a little more complex than just saying you're handsome or hot or whatever.

You actually have to hone in on what masculinity means in general and to the individual person.

But generally speaking, masculine people enjoy compliments that relate to their strength, confidence, leadership ability, and their discipline.

So something like "You're really strong" or "You are really good under pressure. I envy that about you."

These are qualities they want to project and rewarding them for that is a great way to win them over.

I'd say, only as a man mind you, that I appreciate (A) any compliment relating to my good looks, or fit body. It takes a lot to eat right and work out and any notice of that is great. Also, saying I have a handsome face or nice eyes, well that's great because I can't even change that!

But as far as personality goes, men pride themselves on being dependable, intelligent, and determined to succeed. So anything appreciating that, even something as simple as "your mind is so sharp," or "you are great at what you do" (and be specific) goes a long way.

I think just saying he's brilliant at his hobby or his job is a great way to butter him up. Men hardly ever get compliments.

So if he's an artist, he's the best you ever met. If he's a business man, he's excellent at making deals. If he's a mechanic, he is amazing and a lifesaver. (And yeah mechanics are great to have around when you need them!)
