Ball Gag

The ball gag is designed to fit the vast majority of mouths, but it’s a bit big for my girlfriend. She can use it ok, but it’s a bit uncomfortable for her. For reference, she’s a tiny woman. Very short and very petite. An “average” size woman will likely have no issues with it.

Under Mattress Restraint System

This system is very easy set up. I did it by myself in just a few minutes. I have a king size mattress for reference.

Restraint cuffs

These are fairly light-weight, meaning they don’t have a lot of strength. So if you or your partner like to get really wild, they may come loose. The upside of this is that if you’re the one in the cuffs and you feel uncomfortable, you can quickly “escape.”

Bondage rope

I was surprised at the quality of this rope. It’s not high-end by any means, but it holds the bondage knots quite well and doesn’t roll easily. There are certainly higher quality ropes out there, but for the money, this is good stuff for a kit like this.

Nipple clamps

These are mediocre quality. They work, but I wasn’t real crazy about them. They are easily adjustable via the screws, though, which is nice. I just don’t care for the cheap feel of them.

Flogger

This is made from rubber. I like it because rubber can add some “sting” to your flogging session. This may or may not be of interest to you.

My personal take

This All-You-Need bondage set includes everything a beginning BDSM participant could ask for. The most important items in this kit are the bondage rope, under-mattress restraint system and the cuffs. These items are basics for any bondage set. The rest of the included accessories are the icing on the cake.

Note that none of these items would be considered high quality. To me high quality means genuine leather for all the accessories. But it’s impossible to get that in a complete kit at this price point. All leather would cost at least 4x more.

Now for my comments on selected items

The blindfold

I actually like this blindfold a lot, as does my girlfriend. This surprised me because I assumed it would be something really cheap feeling…but it isn’t. It’s comfortable and does a good job of blocking all light.

Restraint system

It’s very similar to the one in the “All You Need” kit above. Very easy to set up. One person can do it in just a few minutes.

Cuffs

The cuffs are a bit more heavy duty in this kit. They’re made of a nylon material with a strap that’s wide and flat. They definitely hold better and are more difficult to break free.

The dildo

When I first opened the box, I chuckled. The dildo has quite an upward angle at the tip. Great for hitting her G-spot. But if you’re a dude that likes to get pegged, the upward angle might be a bit much! Your mileage may vary.

Strap-on harness

In my opinion, the quality of this piece is VERY nice, considering the price point of this kit. The rings on the front work perfectly with the dildo that comes with the kit. It will also likely work with any dildos you already own. We have 2 other dildos and both of them fit and secured just fine to this harness. Definitely universal. It’s also easy to harness up as well as removing it.

My personal take on this kit

In my opinion, the overall quality of the pieces included really surprised me. The harness, the dildo, the cuffs, everything exceeds what I’d expect for a set at this price point.

A few comments on the included items:

Blindfold

I really like the blindfold in this kit, more so than the other two. It has a fuzzy lining which I find comfortable and soothing in a weird sort of way. The adjustment is easy for getting it to fit just right.

Restraints

Like the others, the restraint system is super easy to install. One person can do it in a couple minutes. The clasps that hook on to the cuffs are also of slightly higher quality than the other two kits.

Cuffs

These cuffs are the most comfortable of the 3 kits. Also easiest to install and remove from the wrists and ankles. This may be a positive or negative depending on how much discomfort you prefer 🙂

My overall take on this kit

The bottom line is this: sometimes less is actually more. This kit is the least expensive of the ones I’ve reviewed, but the items included are of higher quality than the others. If you just want to focus on a couple of thrills and don’t care about having a ton of different items, I say this kit reigns supreme.

Also, I really like how this is a “matching” kit. Everything looks like it belongs together, rather than a hodge podge of items lumped into a set. Very nice if aesthetics are important to you.

Final thoughts on these BDSM kits

BDSM kits and bondage sets are great items to have on hand when spicing up your sex life is a high priority. They’re very easy to set up and use, generally taking only a few minutes of preparation. Whether you’re young or old, bondage is a a lot of fun!
